What Is Sweat Testing?

Every athlete sweats differently. Some lose significantly more sodium than others, and getting your hydration strategy wrong, even slightly, can cost you performance, cause cramping, or leave you feeling flat long before the finish line.

Sweat testing is a simple, non-invasive test that measures the exact sodium concentration in your sweat. With that data, Rich builds you a completely personalised hydration and fuelling strategy, so you're never guessing again.

It's a game-changer for endurance athletes, competitive runners, cyclists, triathletes, and anyone who trains hard and wants to get the most from their body.

How It Works

Sweat Testing
A quick, non-invasive test captures a small sample of your sweat. No needles, no discomfort and it takes just a few minutes.
Salt Analysis
Your sample is analysed to determine your unique sodium concentration. The key data point that shapes your entire hydration strategy.
Hydration Report
Rich walks you through your results and builds a tailored hydration and fuelling plan around your training load, goals, and sweat profile.

Really informative session and I think this explains a lot of why I feel low and dizzy after training session.

Trying to get better at long distance running and realising that it’s not just food/carb intake but salt also plays a vital part of the training/recovery and racing. I use Precision Hydration and who better to test me here in central London. Richard was very easy to talk too, he knows what he is doing and explains the process very thoroughly, which didn’t take long and the process was pleasant. Thank you Richard, I will let you know how I get on in my next races.

Richard was amazing! I went to him for a sweat test due to some health issues and he very patiently explained the testing process and my results. I feel armed with the right information going forward and would happily recommend him to others!
